Betty Cassinger, 77, of Williamsville passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Betty was born May 2, 1948, in Butler County to Orviell and Doris Buhler and attended Neelyville R-IV schools. She also worked as a certified nurse's aide at Doctors Hospital. She loved gardening, collecting memorabilia and her dogs and rescued several animals over the years. She gave her life to Jesus Christ in 1991 and attended Bluff City Apostolic Worship Center for many years. She also attended Hendrickson Chapel in her later years.
She is survived by her sister, Peggy Carlstrom, of Williamsville; two nieces, Kirsten Carlstrom of Williamsville and Megan Carlstrom of Poplar Bluff, and a nephew, Mike Buhler of Williamsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
